This course provides a comprehensive introduction to entrepreneurship and the systematic process of transforming business ideas into viable and sustainable enterprises. Participants will gain an understanding of entrepreneurship concepts, opportunity recognition, and the key principles involved in identifying and developing innovative business ideas. The course explores how entrepreneurs can identify market needs, solve societal problems, and create value through enterprise development.
Learners will be introduced to practical techniques for generating, evaluating, and refining business ideas. Topics include creativity and innovation, design thinking, market research, feasibility assessment, and the development of customer-focused value propositions. Participants will also learn how to assess business opportunities based on their potential profitability, sustainability, and alignment with market demands.
In addition, the course provides guidance on converting business concepts into structured enterprise models through the preparation of business concept notes and basic business plans. It also covers the legal and regulatory requirements for business registration, including business naming procedures, compliance obligations, and the formal establishment of enterprises. By the end of the course, participants will be equipped with the knowledge and tools needed to move from an initial business idea to a well-defined and legally recognized venture.
